Patching & Compliance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Patching & Compliance Engineer with strong expertise in BMC TrueSight, along with hands-on experience in Linux and/or Windows server environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end patch lifecycle management, compliance reporting, vulnerability remediation, and ensuring systems adhere to organizational security standards.

• Perform end-to-end patching across Windows and Linux servers using BMC TrueSight Server Automation (BSA).
• Schedule, deploy, and validate patches for security, OS updates, and application maintenance.
• Identify missing patches, analyze impact, and coordinate deployment with application and infrastructure teams.
• Monitor patch deployment success/failure and provide remediation.

• Ensure system compliance with organizational standards, CIS benchmarks, and security policies.
• Use BMC TrueSight to assess compliance deviations and generate reports.
• Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and track remediation progress.
• Conduct periodic compliance audits across server environments.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts for patching and compliance tasks (PowerShell, Shell, Python preferred).
• Optimize patching processes for scalability and efficiency.
• Improve compliance frameworks and reduce manual workloads through automation.

• Provide support for Windows or Linux OS (based on expertise).
• Diagnose OS-related issues discovered during patch cycles.
• Work closely with infrastructure teams for system readiness and maintenance windows.
