Security Architect – UK (Onsite 2 Days/Week)

Locations: Manchester / Newcastle / London

Clearance: Active BPSS + UK Passport Only

Residency: Minimum 5 Years in UK

Strict Requirement: Only British Nationals with active BPSS clearance will be considered.

Role Overview: Security Architect for a Government cloud transformation programme

The role involves defining security standards, analysing impacts, and guiding technical teams across a large-scale Oracle-on-Cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead security requirements analysis for cloud migration.
• Define & enhance departmental Cloud security standards.
• Work with engineering teams to assess impacts and propose secure solutions.
• Produce Requirements & Impact Analysis documentation.
• Define security architecture frameworks and technical options.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience in security architecture for cloud platforms.
• Oracle database experience (Oracle on AWS preferred).
• Exposure to Java middleware, Pro*C, PL/SQL batch applications.
• Experience with client-side field-level encryption in large Oracle environments.
• Strong stakeholder and communication skills.

Work Model

Mostly remote, but onsite 2 days/week in Manchester / Newcastle / London as required.
