Project Manager

Managing IT infrastructure projects for a global insurance business. End-to-end ownership from vision to benefits realization, with ability to pick up projects mid-flight.

Key Responsibilities

Lead medium-to-large projects/workstreams, defining scope and success criteria

Build business cases with sponsors (outcomes, benefits, measures)

Manage budget, risks, issues, and resources (including vendors)

Ensure delivery covers not just tech, but business change, training, and service integration

Close projects and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement

Required Skills

Experience with Agile and Waterfall, plus tools like Jira

Managing multiple concurrent projects

Strong governance, risk, and budget control

Excellent stakeholder influence and communication (adapting between detail and high-level)

Resilience in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Nice-to-Haves

PRINCE2/PMP or APM/PMI certification

Change Management qualification (APMG)

Degree-level education

Insurance or Finance industry experience
