The Role
This IT Business Analyst role sits within a central Transformation function, working closely with both technology teams and senior business stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering change initiatives that drive real value across the organisation.
Some of the most interesting aspects of the role include:
- Acting as the bridge between business and technology on major transformation initiatives
- Leading requirements gathering, workshops, and process definition
- Translating complex business needs into clear, deliverable requirements and user stories
- Supporting delivery through build, testing, and implementation
- Working across a hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment with a pragmatic, outcomes‐first approach.
- Exposure to initiatives including CRM transformation, payments, onboarding, and AI-driven change, ERP implementation
Your Experience
This role will suit an IT Business Analyst who enjoys delivery, stakeholder engagement, and working in complex environments where change is ongoing rather than fixed.
You will bring:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within wealth management, asset management, pensions or insurance sector
- Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and process modelling capability
- Confidence engaging with both senior business stakeholders and technical teams in cross-boundary settings
- Experience operating in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments
- A pragmatic mindset with a focus on delivering value quickly
- Lean Six Sigma qualification is essential
- Project experience in at least two of the following areas: Payments | CRM transformation | Customer onboarding | ERP implementation | Automation / AI | Document Management Systems (DMS)
- Occasional stakeholder travel and attendance to the Manchester office is required.
