IT Apprentice

To support and maintain the user community to the standards required by the business.

Role

  • Assist in managing day-to-day requests from the user community, ensuring that all issues are resolved swiftly and efficiently
  • Assist in the provision and installation of IT services to user
  • Support the IT Analysts by owning the management starters and leavers
  • Liaise with the IT Analysts to manage remote sites
  • Maintenance and deployment of software and security patching across all PC’s, laptops and servers
  • Support the IT Analysts to action folder and system access across all service
  • Setup, deploy and asset record all technology equipment (PC’s Phones, and tablets etc
  • Attend site visits as and when required
  • Learn key IT skills to enable passing of modules in both the Apprenticeship curriculum and Vocational Course
  • Ensure that all administration is carried out in accordance with the standard company procedure
  • Ensure that problems / failures are reported in accordance with the company’s procedures

Training

The apprenticeship is delivered as a weekly day release at our campus in Stratford, E15.
