We’re looking for a proactive and organised Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team in Reading. This role would suit someone with some AP experience who is confident working in a busy, transactional environment and can manage multiple priorities with ease.

In this role, you’ll support the Accounts Payable function across multiple entities, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time while maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Processing a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Managing the invoice approval process and supplier queries
  • Supporting reconciliations across multiple entities
  • Posting payment runs and direct debits
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and master data
  • Managing a busy shared inbox and prioritising effectively
  • Working across multiple companies simultaneously

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous Accounts Payable experience
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Confident working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong inbox management skills
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel
  • Someone confident in their ability who can hit the ground running

Working pattern:

  • Based in Reading
  • 3 days in the office (full-time in office during initial training – minimum 2 weeks)
