SAP Procurement Lead Contract role - outside IR35

We are looking for an SAP Procurement Lead with S/4 HANA Public Cloud experience.

This is an initial 3-month contract starting ASAP, with a strong likelihood of extensions depending on project progress.

• Location: Hybrid - UK based with onsite travel to South Yorkshire and Warwickshire for workshops as required by the project demand.

Scope of the role

The focus is on leading Procurement design and delivery within an S/4HANA Public Cloud programme, ensuring procurement processes are aligned with standard SAP capabilities while meeting business requirements.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading SAP Procurement (MM) workstreams across an S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation
• Running procurement discovery and design workshops onsite with business stakeholders
• Defining and shaping procurement operating models, sourcing processes, purchasing flows, and supplier collaboration approaches
• Ensuring end-to-end procurement processes are aligned with S/4HANA Public Cloud best practices and standard functionality
• Working closely with Finance, Supply Chain, and other functional leads to ensure strong cross-functional integration
• Supporting the design of direct and indirect procurement processes
• Translating business requirements into scalable SAP solutions within the Public Cloud framework
• Advising stakeholders on standardisation and process improvements enabled by S/4HANA Public Cloud
• Contributing to solution design, functional specifications, and delivery planning
• Acting as the Procurement SME within the programme, supporting both design decisions and delivery discussions
