As a Data Architect (Manager) at Kainos, you’ll provide SME guidance in data architecture disciplines such as data structures, data flows, data sourcing, and data governance. You will work closely with clients to understand their data requirements and ensure solutions are fit for purpose. You will also provide technical leadership within your team and may work at solution or enterprise levels, resolving data definition and mastering issues across complex stakeholder environments.

Our data projects leverage cutting-edge technology to solve real-world problems, and we are seeking high-caliber professionals to join our Data & AI capability, where you will grow and contribute your expertise.
You will manage, coach, and develop a small team, focusing on performance management and career development, while providing leadership in solving challenging problems together.
Minimum requirements:
- Strong technical expertise in core data architecture disciplines including data modelling, analysis, metadata management, transformation, migration, and master data management.
- Proven experience providing technical leadership, assurance, mentoring, and defining standards in data projects.
- Experience in product or technology selection at project or enterprise level.
- Excellent client engagement skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing thought leadership and inspiring teams.
- Proficiency in at least three mainstream data technologies and awareness of industry trends.
- A self-starter capable of working with high uncertainty, with demonstrated skills in managing and developing junior team members.
Desirable:
- Experience defining information handling models and capacity planning across heterogeneous data stores.
- Experience establishing data governance processes.
- Experience architecting data lakes and solutions within a data lake ecosystem.
- Enterprise Data Architecture experience.
