The role
\n
As a Senior Business Analyst at Kainos, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that the solutions we deliver meet the real needs of our customers and their users.
\n
You’ll work closely with delivery teams, product colleagues, and clients to understand complex business needs, articulate problems clearly, and design cost-effective digital solutions that make a tangible difference.
\n
Sitting between business and technology, you’ll translate ambiguity into clarity - helping teams move forward with confidence, purpose, and shared understanding.

What you’ll be doing

- \nLeading analysis activities to ensure solutions meet user and business needs \n

- \nArticulating problems and processes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders \n

- \nFacilitating workshops and discussions to drive alignment and decision-making \n

- \nTranslating business requirements into clear, actionable user stories \n
\n\n

- \nManaging and refining backlogs to ensure priorities and value are well understood \n
\n\n

- \nModelling as-is and to-be business processes to support change and buy-in \n
\n\n
- \n
- \nSupporting delivery teams to design cost-effective, high-quality solutions \n
\n\n
- \n
- \nBuilding trusted relationships with stakeholders and delivery teams \n
\n\n
- \n
- \nWorking within commercial and delivery constraints while maintaining quality \n
\n\n
What we’re looking for

- \n
- \nExperience delivering bespoke software in agile teams for external clients \n
\n\n
- \n
- \nUK public sector or healthcare experience (essential) \n
\n\n
- \n
- \nStrong understanding of the full delivery lifecycle, from analysis through to live service \n
\n\n
- \n
- \nExcellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence to challenge constructively \n
\n\n
- \n
- \nHigh-quality user story writing and backlog management experience \n
\n\n
- \n
- \nStrong business process modelling and facilitation skills \n
\n\n
- \n
- \nBroad understanding of business and technology, with awareness of industry trends \n
\n\n
- \n
- \nComfortable working to tight deadlines in complex environments \n
\n\n
- \n
- \nExperience working in multi-disciplinary delivery teams \n
\n\n
