05:50 - 13:25

Afternoon Shift
13:25 - 21:00

Friday (Shorter Shifts):
Morning: 06:00 - 12:00
Afternoon: 12:00 - 18:00

About the business:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Flexographic Printer to join a well-established and growing printing and packaging company. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator to work with high-quality flexographic printing equipment, producing printed materials on substrates such as self-adhesive paper and film.

About the role as a Flexographic Printer:

As a Flexographic Printer, you will operate and maintain flexographic printing presses while ensuring high standards of print quality and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities of a Flexographic Printer:

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses
• Mount printing plates and cylinders accurately
• Prepare and mix inks to required colour specifications
• Adjust machine settings including speed, pressure and alignment
• Monitor print runs for colour accuracy, registration and consistency
• Inspect printed materials and maintain quality standards
• Troubleshoot printing or mechanical issues during production
• Carry out routine machine maintenance and cleaning
• Maintain production records and job documentation
• Follow all health & safety procedures

Skills & Experience for a Flexographic Printer

• Experience operating a narrow web flexographic printing press
• Knowledge of printing processes, substrates and inks
• Ability to read job sheets and technical specifications
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Good mechanical troubleshooting ability
• Ability to work effectively to production deadlines
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
