BI And Insights Manager
We’re looking for a BI And Insights Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality reporting, dashboards, and data-driven insights across services. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, oversee data analysis and reporting, and ensure accessible, accurate, and actionable intelligence is used to support decision-making. This is a full-time temporary role, Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week with potential for extension.Key Responsibilities of the BI And Insights Manager role Includes:
- Lead the design and development of Power BI dashboards and performance reports
- Oversee the collection, linking, and analysis of data from multiple systems
- Manage and develop data models, reporting frameworks, and automation processes
- Translate complex data into clear insights, trends, and actionable recommendations
- Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across all reporting outputs
- Work closely with stakeholders to define performance indicators and reporting requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve services through data analysis and insight
- Support the development of a robust, sustainable, and organisation-wide reporting environment
- Provide expert advice and guidance on data, reporting, and analytical approaches
- Lead or support a team of BI, Insight, and Data Analysts where required
- Strong Power BI experience, including dashboard development and data visualisation
- Proven experience in business intelligence, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience with data modelling, data warehousing, and analytical tools (e.g. SQL)
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and lead on initiatives where required
- Previous public sector or local authority experience is desirable
- Location: Friargate, Coventry (Hybrid – minimum 2 days onsite)
- £23.34 PAYE
- Full time Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week
