You’ll be responsible for identifying and connecting with target companies, building strong relationships, and helping drive growth through strategic outreach.
Key duties of the role:
- Expand the pipeline by sourcing companies that fit the acquisition profile.
- Drive outreach via calls, emails, and social media to engage new prospects.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to build initial connections with target companies.
- Building client relationships and engaging with stakeholders.
- Leverage AI, marketing tools, and CRM data to grow and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Follow up promptly on all prospecting activity, both outbound and inbound.
- Lead initial conversations, calls, video, or in-person, to assess the suitability of target companies.
- Record key interactions and meeting notes at a high standard to support deal tracking.
Skills needed for this role:
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with exceptional communication skills.
- A degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in building client relationships and engaging with stakeholders
- Self-motivated and proactive worker, who excels working both independently and as a team.
- Two plus years in business-to-business sales, business development, or lead origination roles.
- Expresses a strong business sense and approach to sales, with the ability to connect with target companies.
- Holds an interest and an understanding of Finance and IT, demonstrating a passion to learn and develop.
- Hold and lead engaging conversations with business owners, building relationships.
- Consistently models the behaviour expected.
For this role you will need to have had previous experience in building client relationships and engaging with stakeholders.
