About the Role

We're looking for a Product Engineer to join our founding engineering team. You'll sit at the intersection of product and engineering - someone who thinks deeply about problems, designs elegant solutions, and builds them end-to-end. You'll be responsible for bringing Keith's client and conveyancer-facing platforms to life, turning complex legal workflows into intuitive, polished interfaces. You'll use AI coding tools extensively and move fast.

You Will:

  • Solve complex product problems - understand what conveyancers and clients need, then design and build the right solution
  • Build and improve Keith's client platform - task-based workflows, document handling, contract signing, real-time transaction tracking
  • Build and improve the conveyancer dashboard - inbox, document review, approval workflows, transaction oversight
  • Design clear, logical interfaces for complex legal processes - making the complicated feel simple
  • Work across the full stack - from React/Next.js frontend to the state machine and workflow engine that orchestrates every transaction
  • Use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code) as a core part of your workflow to move at speed
  • Help build, monitor and improve AI agents that handle legal document review and correspondence
  • Work closely with founders and lawyers to understand user needs and translate them into product decisions

We'll be working quickly to get our first product to market and then iterating rapidly to ramp up automation.

About You

  • 3+ years building modern web applications, with a strong frontend emphasis and genuine interest in product and UX
  • A strong problem solver - you break down ambiguous requirements into clear, logical steps and build well-structured solutions
  • Strong command of React/Next.js, TypeScript and Python
  • Comfortable working across the stack - you can build an API endpoint when needed, not just consume one
  • An eye for design and detail - you care about spacing, typography and interaction quality
  • Experienced with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot) - you use them daily and know how to get the best out of them
  • Able to turn ambiguous requirements into intuitive, well-structured interfaces
  • Based in our London Victoria office 3 days per week, with existing legal right to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship

Why Keith

  • Join a small, senior founding team building one of the first AI-native regulated law firms from scratch
  • Founding team with a proven track record - including founders of one of the UK's fastest growing consumer brands
  • Have real ownership and help redefine how legal work gets done
  • Collaborate with senior lawyers and technologists to automate complex workflows at scale
  • Work at the frontier of AI and law - move fast, experiment, and shape the product
