Head of Digital
Kenny Recruit are working with an ecommerce clothing retaile r to find a Head of Digital on a permanent basis. You will be joining them at a time where there is real momentum and while they are still growing and you will be able to see your work making an impact, every single day.
As the Head of Digital, you’ll lead the evolution of their digital ecosystem, shaping platforms and experiences for one of the UK’s most recognised DTC brands. Own the end-to-end customer journey, driving clarity, distinction, and conversion through a bold, high-impact digital presence.
Pay: £100,000 - £110,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: SW London - 3 days in the office
Working hours: 9am - 5pm
Responsibilities:
- Take overall ownership of digital performance channels, ensuring effective traffic acquisition and strong on-site conversion.
- Collaborate closely with brand and creative teams to align performance strategy with brand expression and campaign activity.
- Lead and develop a cross-functional team of performance managers, product managers, and in-house engineers to deliver digital excellence.
- Drive scalable and efficient customer acquisition, with success measured by cost-effective growth and conversion performance.
- Recognise that long-term retention is primarily driven by the physical product, focusing digital efforts on acquisition and conversion impact.
The right person:
- 7+ years of experience in target-driven digital growth or marketing roles, with a strong background in client-side environments, ideally within a startup.
- High levels of numeracy and analytical skill, with a deeply data-driven approach to decision making.
- Extensive hands-on experience across key performance channels (particularly Google and Meta) and a solid understanding of website development.
- Strong technical acumen, with the ability to evaluate software solutions and tech stacks, ideally supported by some coding experience.
- Proven experience managing engineers and cross-functional teams, balancing competing objectives across brand, product, and merchandising.
- A sharp commercial instinct and statistical intuition, able to identify what truly moves the needle within brand and budget constraints.
- Demonstrated commercial judgement, shown through a record of smart, well-reasoned decisions and thoughtful reflection on outcomes.
