We're Hiring: Senior Sourcing and Supplier Manager - 12 Month FTC

Location: Remote

Department: Procurement

Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00-17:30

Overall Purpose of the Job:

Deliver effective sourcing and third-party risk management ensuring that goods and services are sourced cost effectively and third-party risks are managed within the IT category

Key Accountabilities:

Strategy and innovation

  • Support sourcing plans for renewals, new contracts and supplier selection.
  • Support the P&P strategy and development plan.
  • Track market innovation and leading capabilities.
  • Present sourcing and supplier options clearly.

Stakeholder Management

  • Manage stakeholder relationships and support needs.
  • Promote the value of partnering with P&P.
  • Influence stakeholders and budget holders to follow policy.
  • Present sourcing recommendations to aid decisions.

Team Management

  • Support procurement development and deputise when needed.
  • Embed company values across the team.
  • Help shape operating plans.

Sourcing

  • Own category spend and deliver savings.
  • Source goods and services to policy and best practice.
  • Manage sourcing risk through effective contracts.

Third Party Risk Management

  • Support the third-party risk framework across the lifecycle.
  • Maintain third-party risk tools and templates.
  • Ensure exit strategies for high-risk third parties.
  • Embed third-party risk management with BRMs.
  • Develop training and guidance for BRMs.
  • Manage key third-party relationships and issues.
  • Ensure delivery, performance, value and innovation.
  • Provide commercial support for key projects.

Governance and Reporting

  • Ensure third parties meet standards and regulations.
  • Maintain governance forums for sourcing and risk.
  • Keep category records accurate and up to date.
  • Report category activity against savings targets.

Experience

  • Senior category management experience, ideally in Financial Services.
  • Experience leading sourcing and complex negotiations.
  • Third-party risk management experience.
  • Strong contractual and commercial knowledge.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong negotiation skills.

Knowledge

  • Strategic sourcing best practice in category.
  • Third-party risk best practice, ideally in Financial Services.
  • End-to-end policy and process development.

Skills

  • Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Proactive in identifying supply chain innovation.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Degree preferred; CIPS or equivalent is an advantage.
