Data Analyst (Primary Care)
Do you like using a range of statistical methodologies to generate data? Are you able to provide ongoing statistical evaluation and analysis that can support continuous development and improvement of practice education? If so, we would welcome your application.
As a Data Analyst (Primary Care), you can expect to be involved in:
- Conducting psychometric and statistical analysis of data, including but not limited to technology-enhanced learning (TEL) and assessment, and Primary Care Placement capacity.
- With support from the Digital Education Manager and Placements Manager, designing, implementing and maintaining strategies for ensuring high levels of data quality and accuracy within projects and activities being evaluated
- Undertaking data entry and processing across a range of work areas and utilising a number of different software systems including SPSS and MSCAA.
- Writing reports to summarise findings and communicating these to a wide range of audiences.
- Supporting the work of the wider professional services team as required, including providing support for key admissions and curriculum and assessment projects such as Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs), Applied Knowledge Tests (AKTs) and Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs)
What will you bring to the role?
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject (mathematics, statistics, psychology)
- Experience of working in an office environment with face–to–face contact with a variety of people
- Excellent IT skills with experience in using MS Office packages and statistical software such as SPSS
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, including when maintaining electronic records
- Excellent communication skills.
