Head of IT Infrastructure
Lead the development and execution of IT infrastructure strategies, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and business-aligned technology services. Provide expert 3rd line technical support for Asta Group and its customers, addressing BAU issues, managing IT resilience, and overseeing capacity planning. Cultivate strong client relationships and ensure high-level changes adhere to change control procedures. Demonstrate the ability to lead and develop a high-performing IT team, step in for the Head of Client IT Services and InfoSec when required and collaborate effectively across business entities.
Your New Role- Strategic Planning and Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of IT infrastructure strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. This includes overseeing the design, deployment, and management of robust and scalable IT systems.
- Innovation and Technology Advancement: Monitor developments in technology and industry trends. Assess and implement new technologies with the objective of enhancing efficiency, security, and the performance of IT infrastructure.
- Team Development and Management: Lead a high-performing IT infrastructure team. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development, ensuring the team is equipped with the latest skills and knowledge.
- Client and Vendor Management: Build and sustain effective partnerships with Asta’s clients, IT representatives, and prospective clients. Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to uphold Asta’s rigorous standards.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure the IT infrastructure meets all security and compliance requirements. Collaborate with wider IT team to develop and implement policies and procedures to protect the company's data and systems from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Project Management: Work with project manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of IT infrastructure projects. Provide technical planning structure to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the desired outcomes.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans including playbooks. Ensure the IT infrastructure can quickly recover from disruptions and continue to support business operations.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud, storage, virtualisation).
- Cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Disaster recovery, business continuity, and high availability
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent client management skills, dealing with SLAs and high expectations.
- Experience in regulated industry
