Business Analyst

Due to continued large scale project delivery across the platform, we have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join us. As a Business Analyst you will be the key point of contact between Change (both internal and external) and the business for system, application and process improvement changes across the group in line with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To analyse, document and support solutions for all business areas and to draft business requirement for peer review & sign off either via business requirement documents or user stories.

  • To model new or modified system functionality and process improvement across the Air via Visio/process modelling tools.

  • To assist or facilitate requirements gathering workshops, document outputs & own change requirements through to business acceptance.

  • Ensure that all relevant and appropriate standards and legislative requirements are adhered to at all times.

  • Assist in the daily management of change requests and system queries.

What are we looking for?

  • Good Knowledge of the UK mortgage industry and products would be advantageous (although not essential) along with previous experience of working in a FS environment.

  • Demonstrable track record in a similar role within an SME, in particular working in a Business to Consumer organisation

  • Able to translate business requirements to business area and 3rd parties.

  • Proven ability in conducting meetings with key stakeholders to the business to capture requirements, establish user needs and gather all information required.

  • Experience of Agile methodologies and Atlassian applications

  • Exceptional written, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Able to contribute to business success including business process development or improvement

  • Develops self and improves knowledge and awareness of industry

  • Self-motivated with the desire and ability to manage under pressure in a fast paced environment.

  • To be able to communicate at high levels to key personnel

  • Able to advise at all levels of the business
