Product head Blockchain

Job Description:

Are you ready to lead the charge in shaping the future of blockchain technology? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our client's team as the Head of Product Engineering for Global Blockchain. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing our technology strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of our blockchain products.

Essential Functions:

• Collaborate closely with the Global Blockchain leadership team to align technology strategy with business goals and objectives.
• Define and execute the overall technology strategy, architecture, and technical roadmap for our EY Blockchain Products.
• Create strategic plans and timelines for development and deployment of technical web services.
• Work with individual Product Owners to develop technical roadmaps, set clear goals, and prioritize initiatives.
• Make key technology decisions including infrastructure, scalability, performance, and external system integrations.
• Foster a culture of collaboration across product teams and other functions to ensure alignment between technology strategy and business objectives.
• Lead and manage technical deliverables, providing regular progress updates to leadership.
• Provide input to the budgeting process for the product engineering team and monitor resource allocation.
• Collaborate with technology partners to explore feasibility and value-add opportunities for the organization.
• Ensure compliance with firm standards for quality, risk management, and independence.
• Set performance-based KPIs for the team and drive technical efficiency.

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

• Lead by example in proactive issue identification and resolution, promoting innovation and open communication.
• Encourage a culture of experimentation and learning by doing.
• Clearly articulate problems and proposed solutions, fostering an inclusive and flexible environment.
• Prioritize personal and team workloads to meet organizational objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and direction, making decisions and recommending approaches based on quality reviews.

Qualifications:

• 10-15 years of technical work experience across various departments, including public blockchain development.
• 4-5 years of experience leading product development teams for enterprise SaaS applications.
• Previous experience in Agile development and managing volatile industry expectations.
• Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.

Other Requirements:

• Hybrid work structure with 2-3 days in the London office per week.
• Periodic travel to India and occasional travel to other locations required.
• Passion for technology and blockchain concepts.
