Product Owner (FX Technology) - Inside IR35

Keyrus is seeking a highly skilled Product Owner – FX Technology to lead the product strategy and roadmap for a suite of FX front-office technology solutions. This is a strategic role requiring strong domain knowledge of FX trading platforms and the ability to translate business needs into actionable product deliverables.

  • Hybrid model: London-based - 3x time in Canary Wharf.
  • Duration: January 2026 to July 2026
  • Inside IR35 - between £600 to £750 per day (based on expertise)

Responsibilities

  • Define the product vision, value proposition, and long-term roadmap for FX technology solutions.
  • Own and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical direction.
  • Drive feature definition, scope planning, and release readiness across iterative delivery cycles.
  • Collaborate with engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct market and domain analysis to benchmark features and identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Provide decision-making support backed by data, user feedback, and measurable business impact.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for product queries and requirement clarifications.
  • Communicate roadmap updates, delivery progress, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Remove delivery blockers and ensure alignment across business and technical teams.

What We're Looking For In Our Applicants

  • 10+ years of product management experience, ideally within financial markets or trading technology.
  • Strong domain expertise in FX trading systems and front-office workflows (pricing, execution, order/risk flows, market connectivity).
  • Demonstrated experience defining strategy and managing roadmaps for complex technology products.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Strong decision-making skills with a focus on value delivery and trade-off management.
