• Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SQL Server databases.
• Write, test, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
• Monitor database performance and assist in troubleshooting performance issues.
• Perform regular database backups, restores, and security audits.
• Support data migration, integration, and ETL processes.
• Assist in managing user roles, permissions, and data access policies.
• Document database configurations, maintenance procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and system administrators to ensure database stability and efficiency.

Required:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Foundational knowledge of SQL Server (or other RDBMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle).
• Strong understanding of SQL query writing, joins, and indexing .
• Familiarity with database backup and recovery concepts.
• Basic knowledge of data normalization and relational database design.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
