Dayforce Report Writer HRIS Implementation
Fully Remote / Outside IR36 Contract / 6 months minimum term
Were supporting a Dayforce HRIS implementation and are looking for an experienced Dayforce Report Writer to support a major reporting workstream.
The role will focus on recreating reports being using in the current PeopleSoft system, into Dayforce. A number of this are high priorty, prior to Wave 1 go live.
What youll be doing:
- Analyse existing PeopleSoft reports to understand logic, calculations, and data outputs
- Work with stakeholders to clarify and refine reporting requirements
- Design and build equivalent reports within Dayforce (UI-based reporting tools)
- Identify and map data from legacy reports to the correct fields within Dayforce
- Support UAT and parallel testing, validating outputs against legacy reports
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between systems
- Document report logic, assumptions, and data mappings
What were looking for:
- Strong hands-on experience building reports in Dayforce - examples of doing so on a project, vs building a couple as part of another job, will be critical
- Experience working on HRIS implementations or report migrations
- Ability to interpret and reverse-engineer legacy reports (e.g. PeopleSoft)
- Strong understanding of HR and payroll data
- Experience supporting UAT and data validation
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
This role is less about technical development and more about translating legacy reporting into Dayforce understanding what the data is doing, where it sits, and how to accurately recreate it in a new system.
