Technical Delivery Lead – S/4Hana Transition across SAP Basis to Rise and PO to Integration Suite, Infrastructure & Security

12 Month Fixed Term Contract | Hybrid | Occasionally required in London office

Salary to £75k + Bonus + benefits

We're looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Lead to own the design and delivery of the platform and integration workstream within a SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration. You'll lead a team spanning the shift from SAP Basis to RISE with SAP S/4HANA landscape, and from SAP PO to SAP Integration Suite on SAP BTP

This role would suit someone who began their career in SAP Basis, then broadened into BTP / Integration Suite and modern S/4HANA landscape delivery, with a strong grasp of secure operations and integration best practices.

What you'll do

• Lead the technical delivery of SAP platform and integration components — landscape design, setup, migration readiness, and testing.
• Manage and coordinate Basis, integration and security specialists, ensuring smooth collaboration across internal teams and the Systems Integrator.
• Own delivery across:
• Basis & platform operations (S/4HANA environments, transports, performance, system stability)
• Integration (SAP PO and/or BTP Integration Suite, interfaces, monitoring, cutover readiness)
• Infrastructure (cloud/on-prem connectivity, resilience, environment alignment)
• Authorisations & Security (role design, SoD, access controls, go-live readiness)
• Ensure technical governance, environment standards, and operational controls are defined and followed.
• Drive change control, risk management, and cutover planning for the platform and integration scope.
• Maintain high-quality architecture documentation and ensure alignment to SAP best practices.

What we're looking for

• Strong track record of SAP ECC and ideally S/4HANA technical platform delivery.
• Career foundation in SAP Basis, with progression into broader technical leadership.
• Hands-on understanding of BTP / Integration Suite and/or PO integration on S/4HANA programmes.
• Proven ability to lead cross-discipline technical teams (Basis, integration, infra, security, auths).
• Clear understanding of secure SAP landscape delivery, including authorisations/roles, security governance, and compliance controls.
• Excellent stakeholder management and delivery leadership in complex ERP environments.
• Solid grasp of documentation standards, technical change control, and delivery assurance.
