Technical Lead Dynamics / D365

Dynamics 365 / D365 Technical Lead - CE modules

Fully Remote

A high-growth, acquisitive business is looking for a hands-on Dynamics 365 CE technical lead to take ownership of complex enterprise solutions across Field Service, Sales, and Customer Service.

You'll remain hands on developing solutions, but will also lead a small technical team while remaining deeply involved in architecture, build, and platform optimisation. It's ideal for a senior specialist ready to combine technical authority, people leadership, and strategic influence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as technical lead and owner for the Dynamics 365 CE platform, including environments, Dataverse architecture, security model, and integrations.
  • Provide day-to-day technical leadership for a growing team—mentoring developers, reviewing designs and code, and setting direction.
  • Define, implement, and enforce development standards and best practices across Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse, Power Platform, and integrations, ensuring full alignment with system integrators.
  • Design, build, and maintain robust integrations with external enterprise systems (e.g. ERP, HR, Finance), ensuring performance, data integrity, and resilience.
  • Drive platform performance and scalability, optimising plugins, workflows, controls, Power Automate flows, and data queries.
  • Evaluate and introduce new Dynamics 365 and Power Platform roadmap features, supporting continuous improvement and rapid growth through acquisition.

About you

  • Proven experience as a senior Dynamics 365 CE technical specialist, with deep hands-on expertise across Sales, Customer Service, and Field Service (FSM) modules.
  • Strong technical leadership experience, including leading or mentoring developers and acting as a go-to authority for complex design decisions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Dataverse, security roles, environment strategy, and solution management.
  • Solid development background including C# plugins, custom workflows, JavaScript, PCF controls, and performance optimisation.
  • Strong experience with Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Apps (model-driven), and Power Platform governance.
  • Proven experience designing and supporting integrations using APIs, Azure services, and middleware.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, acquisitive environment, integrating new businesses and systems into a scalable D365 platform.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to influence stakeholders and guide technical direction .

Please apply today for interviews planned first week of January 26.
