SAP S/4 HANA Change Manager

SAP S/4 Hana Change Manager needed for my very busy client. You must be willing to roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty. They do not want or need someone that is strategic, they have that covered. They are looking for a highly capable and people-led SAP S/4 HANA Change Manager to join an ERP transformation programme in the public sector. This role is essential in helping sustain and build momentum through a pivotal period of the programme. You’ll focus on managing the change champion network and supporting internal capability, as well as contributing to communications and training strategies.

This is not a traditional delivery-only role. It’s about building trust, alignment and sustainability – strengthening the organisation so it emerges stronger than it started.

 What You’ll Be Doing

Lead the Change Network

  • Own and maintain the change champion network, acting as the central point of coordination
  • Enable the network to actively engage with the business and cascade change messages
  • Build capability and confidence across the network to support the roll-out

Oversee Communications (Supportive Role)

  • Contribute to creating clear, consistent messaging aligned to change outcomes
  • Ensure messaging is people-centred and feedback-informed
  • Help shape communication rhythms and tools to cut through complexity

Support Training Delivery (Supportive Role)

  • Help shape the development of end-user training materials in partnership with training leads
  • Apply our 'co-creation not cascade' ethos to build training with and for the business
  • Surface training risks or needs and support their prioritisation

Act as a Change Advocate

  • Role model people-led, co-created change
  • Apply Lean Change principles: keep it light, visible and feedback-driven
  • Use pragmatic tools (like change canvases, wall visuals, impact mapping) to engage hearts and minds

 Who You Are

  • Experienced in leading people-led ERP change, ideally SAP in complex organisations
  • Able to quickly build relationships across functional and programme teams
  • Fluent in change tools and techniques, but know when to keep it simple
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, using feedback and insight to adapt plans
  • Collaborative, warm and values-led – you do change with people, not to them
  • Bonus: Strong understanding of how to build internal capability across non-change managers
