*Immediate start* Technology Lawyer - 12-month FTC - West London

We are seeking an experienced Technology Lawyer (8–15 years’ PQE) to join a fast-growing, consumer-focused business on an *immediate* basis. This is a senior role advising on a broad range of technology, digital, and commercial matters in a dynamic, customer-centric environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex technology and commercial agreements (including SaaS, licensing, software development, outsourcing and data processing agreements).
• Advise on digital products, e-commerce, consumer terms and platform-related issues.
• Provide strategic advice on data protection, privacy, cybersecurity and emerging technology risks.
• Partner closely with product, engineering, marketing and procurement teams to support innovation and growth.
• Manage regulatory and consumer protection matters relevant to a technology-enabled business.
• Instruct and manage external counsel where required.

Candidate Profile

• 8–15 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally gained in a leading law firm and/or in-house within a technology or consumer-facing business.
• Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills across complex technology transactions.
• Solid understanding of data protection and consumer law frameworks.
• Commercially minded, pragmatic and solutions-oriented.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
