Interim Commercial Lawyer - six months - remote role

A leading technology-driven business operating within a regulated environment is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its legal team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with an immediate or short-notice start preferred. Reporting to the General Counsel, this is a broad commercial role supporting a range of complex matters including technology agreements, data privacy, intellectual property, licensing and strategic business projects. The role offers significant stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to provide practical, commercially focused advice across a dynamic and evolving organisation.

The ideal candidate will have around 8+ years' PQE, strong commercial contracting experience and excellent data protection expertise. Experience within technology, fintech, SaaS or other regulated environments would be advantageous, and any coaching or mentoring experience would be a plus. The position offers a highly flexible working model, with the role being predominantly remote and requiring only occasional office attendance, typically one or two days per month. The business is looking to move quickly and would welcome applications from lawyers available to start at short notice.
