Senior Legal Counsel - Technology/IP/IT

5–10 PQE Senior Legal Counsel | Global Media Technology Business | London

We’re excited to be working with a globally recognised technology company at the forefront of innovation in the creative and visual technology space, supporting some of the world’s leading media and entertainment organisations.

This is a broad and high-impact in-house role, offering exposure to a wide range of complex legal matters across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll work closely with the GC and senior stakeholders across the business, playing a key role in supporting commercial strategy and advising on cutting-edge areas including AI and technology licensing.

Key areas of work include:

• Drafting and negotiating complex software licensing agreements

• Advising on AI governance, risk and emerging technologies

• Supporting commercial transactions and global sales negotiations

• Data protection, IP and IT-related matters

• Corporate support including M&A, integration and governance

• Advising on compliance programmes and internal policies

About You:

• 5–10 PQE qualified lawyer (England & Wales) trained at a highly regarded law firm.

• Strong experience in technology, IP, IT or software licensing

• Proven track record in handling complex commercial contracts and transactions

• Understanding of AI and associated legal and regulatory considerations

• In-house experience ideally in a technology business

• Comfortable working autonomously in a dynamic, evolving environment

The environment is fast-paced, collaborative and innovative, with hybrid working of 2 days a week in central London.
