Senior Legal Counsel- Technology

A globally recognised and innovation driven technology company at the forefront of visual experience is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its legal team. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, creativity and global business, partnering with leading organisations to help bring complex and ambitious ideas to life.
Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will play an important role in supporting a fast growing international business. You will take ownership of key legal matters, contribute to strategic decision making and collaborate with stakeholders across EMEA, the United States and APAC.
This is a hands on role with strong visibility across the business, suited to a lawyer who is comfortable working in a fast paced and evolving environment.
In this role you will lead on complex commercial and technology transactions including software licensing. You will advise on AI governance, data privacy, ESG and intellectual property matters, while supporting global sales negotiations and supplier arrangements. You will work closely with internal teams to balance commercial objectives with legal risk, and contribute to corporate projects including governance and M and A activity. You will also act as a trusted advisor across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will have between five and ten years post qualification experience and be qualified in England and Wales. You will bring strong experience in technology, intellectual property or commercial law, with a proven track record of handling complex contracts and negotiations. A working knowledge of AI and emerging technology risks is important, along with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. Strong communication skills and sound commercial judgement are essential. Experience in house, data privacy expertise or exposure to AI operations would be advantageous.
