Account Manager - London (Hybrid) - up to £40k + commission

Account Manager

  • London (hybrid, 2+ days per week)
  • Up to £40,000 + commission (OTE £70,000) + benefits

Kioni Talent is working with a market leading intelligence provider to hire an Account Manager into their London team.

This role is focused on managing and growing an existing portfolio of clients. It would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, understanding how a product delivers value, and working closely with clients to help them get the most from it.

You won’t be expected to know everything from day one. There is strong support from both the team and the wider business to help you develop a deep understanding of the product suite and how it’s used across different clients.

The role

You’ll take ownership of a book of business, working closely with your clients to understand their needs, how they’re using the platform, and where there is opportunity to add further value.

That will include:

  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and becoming their main point of contact
  • Running regular account reviews to understand performance, usage and future needs
  • Identifying opportunities to grow accounts through upsell and cross-sell
  • Working closely with internal teams to deliver the right solutions for each client
  • Proactively managing risk to ensure high levels of retention

This is a role where commercial thinking and client experience go hand in hand. The best Account Managers here are able to build trust, understand the bigger picture, and spot opportunities that genuinely benefit the client.

What they’re looking for

You don’t need a specific background, but you should have some experience managing or supporting client relationships in a commercial setting.

Typically that might include:

  • Around 2+ years’ experience in Account Management or Customer Success
  • Experience working with a portfolio of clients, ideally in a B2B environment
  • Confidence building relationships and communicating with a range of stakeholders
  • A proactive approach to understanding client needs and finding solutions
  • An interest in developing your commercial skills and growing accounts

Why this role

You’ll be joining a well-established business with a strong product and an existing client base, giving you the platform to build your skills as an Account Manager.

There is a clear opportunity to grow your accounts, develop commercially, and become a trusted partner to your clients over time.
