Kioni Talent is supporting an early-stage deep tech start-up in London as they continue to grow their engineering team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Software Engineer who loves solving complex problems and wants to work on challenging technical problems from the ground up. You’ll be joining a small team, working closely with experienced founders and helping shape how the product and platform evolve.

It’s a great fit for someone who stays up to date with advancements in technology, enjoys learning fast, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

What You’ll Do

• Build and scale the platform across both backend and frontend systems
• Write clean, maintainable code and solve complex technical challenges
• Contribute ideas to product and technical decisions
• Work closely with the founders and broader team on new features and improvements
• Help shape engineering best practices as the company scales

Your Impact

• Contribute to key technical builds during a crucial growth phase
• Help define how things are built, tested, and deployed
• Be part of a high-calibre team with the ambition to scale quickly

What You’ll Need

• 3+ years of engineering experience
• Solid understanding of the fundamentals of computing
• Experience with at least one backend language (e.g. Python, Java, Go)
• Experience with at least one frontend language or framework (e.g. JavaScript, TypeScript, React)
• A proactive mindset and ability to thrive in an early-stage environment
• Curiosity and a passion for keeping up with new technologies and best practices
