We're already a successful college, but we're continually striving to be better and do better - be part of our story!

We are looking for a passionate and innovative Lecturer in Digital Enterprise to join our team. Further Education is where futures take shape and we are looking for a lecturer who can make that journey relevant, exciting and full of possibility. If you're passionate about technology and people, and you believe education should be energetic, practical, and full of real-world meaning, this could be your perfect role. The successful candidates will have up-to-date knowledge of the digital landscape, but may also have a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI), software development, robotics, and/or gaming.

You will deliver engaging, industry-relevant lessons that inspire students to explore the digital world. From programming and coding, cyber and robotics to game design and AI, you'll help learners develop practical skills and creative confidence in today's fast-moving tech landscape. If you're excited to empower the next generation of digital creators and tech innovators, we want to hear from you.

In the role of Lecturer in Digital Enterprise you'll predominantly be based at Springfield Centre, Dewsbury and your focus will be on planning, designing and delivering courses to both 16-19 year old students and adults. We are looking for someone creative and inspiring who can demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in the role and who can ensure all students meet their potential. This is more than a teaching role, it's a chance to change how learners see themselves and their future in the tech industry.

Ideally, you'll have a level 4 qualification in a relevant field (or significant industry experience), a teaching qualification and recent demonstrable experience in the classroom where you show ability to engage, support and challenge students of all abilities.

Due to the nature of our work, it's essential you're committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

We believe learning is not just for our students: it's an important part of working here too. Staff development opportunities include a mentoring scheme, financial contributions for external qualifications and skills development for current and aspiring managers. You'll also have access to a range of staff benefits including an employee assistance programme, retail and leisure discounts and reduced Metro travel.

We want people who believe in the value of education, and who can contribute to our culture of supporting and challenging one another.
