Job description:
Role Title: Dynatrace Expert
This role is a combination of Dynatrace/Observability Engineer and Lead COE member. Candidate should be able to hands-on Dynatrace activities if application teams are new to Dynatrace.

Talent should have 6+ years' work experience.
Design and implement E2E observability for business-critical payment and banking workflows
Configure request attributes to enrich traces with business context (transaction IDs, payment types)
Trace distributed transactions across microservices, MQ, mainframes, and APIs using PurePath
Use DQL basics for querying metrics, building dashboards, and operational reporting
Define and manage Management Zones for multi-team, multi-environment segmentation
Design alerting strategies that reduce noise - leveraging baselines, anomaly detection, and SLO-aligned severity tiers
Build audience-specific dashboards for executives, operations, and engineering teams
Leverage Smartscape and Davis AI for topology-aware root-cause analysis
Define SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for business services and integrate them into release and incident decisions
Preferred Dynatrace Associate Certified
Strong stakeholder communication
Understanding of External tool integrations(ex: Moogsoft) with Dynatrace.
Lead enterprise observability strategy across applications, API platforms, and Important business services
Engage with individual application teams to assess current observability maturity (logs, metrics, traces, events)
Define and establish Observability Center of Excellence (CoE) standards, including:
- Instrumentation guidelines
- Naming conventions
- Tagging and metadata standards
- Dashboard and alert design principles
Identify observability gaps and create structured improvement roadmaps aligned to business priorities
Drive standardization and governance across multi-team and multi-environment landscapes
