Business Analyst

Business Analyst | £80,000–£90,000 | London | 3 days in office | Hybrid

We’re hiring a Business Analyst to join a well-established London-based commodities trading firm.

This is a traditional IT BA role, you’ll work at the heart of the trading lifecycle — gathering requirements, mapping processes, bridging business and developers, and owning UAT through to successful delivery.

What you’ll be doing

• Mapping end-to-end trade lifecycle and back-office processes
• Producing clear, structured requirements documentation
• Structuring, facilitating and owning UAT
• Collaborating on solution design and prototypes
• Ensuring smooth transition of changes into live environments
• Working within Jira, Confluence and/or Azure DevOps

What we’re looking for

• Experience within commodities or financial markets environments
• Exposure to metals or energy trading (OTC and/or ETDs preferred)
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, STP, risk and operations processes
• Proven ownership of UAT and structured delivery initiatives
• Ability to contribute to technical discussions around solutions and operating models
