Calypso Business Analyst – Post-Trade

A leading global financial institution is seeking an experienced Calypso Business Analyst to support and enhance its post-trade platform. This role sits at the intersection of Technology, Operations, and Middle Office, working on high-impact change across the full trade lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing:

• Acting as the subject-matter expert for Calypso post-trade modules , including settlements, confirmations, messaging, task station, workflows, and event processing.
• Working closely with Operations and Technology to analyse issues, optimise processes, and design functional enhancements.
• Gathering, refining, and documenting business requirements; translating them into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
• Supporting system configuration, regression testing, and UAT for new features, patches, and integrations.
• Investigating trade breaks, exception flows, and lifecycle discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurate settlement and confirmation.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot and deliver changes within agreed timelines.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong hands-on experience with Calypso in a post-trade environment (mandatory).
• Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle across derivatives, FX, fixed income, or similar asset classes.
• Good knowledge of SQL , data analysis, and Calypso workflows.
• Experience working in an Agile or hybrid delivery model.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to face off to senior stakeholders across Operations, Risk, Technology, and Front Office.
