Korn Ferry is partnering with a leading Financial Services client in London on a major payments transformation programme. We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support the migration from Legacy payment platforms to a modern, ISO 20022-compliant environment.
Contract DetailsLocation: London (3 days onsite)
Contract: 6 months rolling
Day rate: £400-£500 (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Elicit, analyse, and document business and system requirements across the payments landscape.
Map current and target state processes for Legacy to new platform migration.
Support ISO 20022 adoption, including MT to MX message mapping and data transformation.
Work closely with technology teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful integration.
Define and support SIT and UAT scenarios, ensuring end-to-end payment flow validation.
Assist with cutover planning, reconciliation, and post-migration support.
Required Experience
Strong background in payments within banking or financial services.
Hands-on experience with platform migrations or payment hub implementations.
Knowledge of ISO 20022 and SWIFT messaging standards.
Experience with SEPA, cross-border payments, or Real Time payment schemes.
Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills.
Desirable
Experience with payment orchestration platforms or APIs.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as PSD2, AML, and sanctions screening.
Agile delivery experience.
