Control Systems Engineer
Contract Control Systems Engineer - Remote (Occasional Travel)
Duration: 6 Month Initial (Likely to Extend)
Location: Remote (UK) with occasional on-site travel
Clearance: Must be eligible for SC clearance (or already SC Cleared)
We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role offers remote working with occasional travel to UK sites as required on a 2-year programme of work.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement PLC-based control systems
Configure and program Siemens PLCs
Develop and modify SCADA systems
Support system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Produce technical documentation and ensure compliance with project standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams
Skills & Experience Needed
Strong experience in PLC design and programming
Demonstrable expertise with Siemens automation platforms
Hands-on experience with SCADA systems
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, control philosophies, and specifications
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Must be eligible for SC clearance or already SC Cleared
