Product Designer - Conversational AI (Chat & Voice)
My client is seeking a Product Designer to shape next-gen AI-driven chat and voice experiences. You'll design intuitive, end-to-end journeys that turn complex AI capabilities into simple, human-centred interactions.
This is a fully remote role with ocassional travel to London and Inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities
- Design conversational AI journeys across chat and voice
- Create agentic flows (task completion, recommendations, troubleshooting, E-commerce)
- Define chat UI patterns (cards, buttons, actions + generative responses)
- Apply strong UX writing, interaction design & information hierarchy
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and AI teams
- Use research, data, and experimentation to optimise experiences
- Contribute to scalable design systems
- Champion responsible, user-first AI design (trust, clarity, control)
Key Skills
- Experience designing conversational or AI-led products
- Strong interaction design and UX writing skills
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
- Ability to simplify complex systems into intuitive user journeys
- Portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work
- Experience with LLMs/AI products
- Voice or multi-modal design experience
- Background in design systems or scalable platforms
