The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic

team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both front-end and back end development, with expertise in Angular and Java-based frameworks (e.g., Spring

Boot, Hibernate). You will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle,

from design and development to testing and deployment. You will collaborate with Product duct Development, Project Management, Professional Services and Customer

Success Teams.

The role is currently covered by Gary Langford (Technical Director) who designed and

built the StREAM product. Gary is now working on strategy and complimentary products

and services aligned with StREAM. This means we need someone to work closely with

Gary and take on his role of subject matter expert in our StREAM product. The ideal

candidate should also be able to contribute to strategy as they develop their expertise

with the product.

You will also be involved with the deployment of the application both to on prem and

cloud. As the products SME you will refine and optimise the deployment and upgrade

process.

Kortext is a fast-growing agile business, whilst not detracting from your core role, you

will be required to work on other projects, cover for colleagues etc to address business

priorities for customers and our growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

Front-End Development

Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces using Angular and related

technologies (e.g., TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Implement responsive and user-friendly designs that are accessible across

various devices.

Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional and

engaging user experiences.

Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.

Conduct thorough testing of front-end applications to ensure quality and

performance.

Optimize front-end applications for performance and speed.

Back-End Development

Develop and maintain robust and scalable back-end services using Java and

Javabased frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Hibernate).

Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.

Develop and maintain databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ensure data

integrity.

Implement security measures to protect applications and user data.

Troubleshoot and debug application issues.

Optimize back-end services for performance and scalability.

Full Stack Development

oWork closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., product managers, designers,

A) to deliver high-quality software.

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including

requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices.

Contribute to the improvement of development processes and tools.

Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £40,000.00 per year
