Implementation Engineer

Our client is a well-established software provider to the health and social care sector, supporting organisations that deliver critical frontline services. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Implementation Engineer to join their delivery team.

This role sits at the heart of customer projects, taking responsibility for the successful implementation and configuration of software solutions across client environments.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

The Role

As an Implementation Engineer, you will work closely with internal project teams and external customers to ensure software deployments are delivered on time, to specification, and with minimal disruption. You will be involved from initial setup through to go-live and handover, acting as a trusted technical point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering software implementations within structured project environments
• Installing, configuring, and supporting solutions across customer systems
• Working with Microsoft operating systems and MS Server installations/configuration
• Supporting data, environment setup, and system readiness activities
• Managing customer expectations and translating technical concepts into clear, practical guidance
• Troubleshooting implementation issues and providing effective resolutions
• Collaborating with project managers, support, and development teams

We are looking for a technically capable and customer-focused professional who is comfortable working in project-led environments.

You will demonstrate:

• A proven track record of working in project settings, ideally delivering software implementations in a health and or social care setting.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft OS environments
• Hands-on experience with MS Server installation and configuration
• A solid, well-rounded understanding of general IT and technology principles
• The ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders
• Confidence managing customer expectations in live project environments
• A structured, organised, and delivery-focused approach
