Based: Hybrid - max 3 days p/w onsite in London or Manchester (whichever is most convenient)
Rate - £450 - £500 p/d (Via Umbrella)

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, support, and maintain Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Microsoft Dataverse solutions.
* Build and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 and internal/external systems using Dataverse APIs, Dynamics 365 Web APIs, Azure services, and third-party APIs.
* Develop and maintain custom Dynamics 365 functionality, including:
o C# Plugins
o Custom APIs
o Custom Workflow Activities
o Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) Controls
o JavaScript and TypeScript Web Resources
o Power Apps
o Power Automate Flows
* Configure and maintain Dynamics 365 security models, including security roles, teams, business units, field-level security, and access controls.
* Develop, execute, and maintain automated unit tests for custom Dynamics 365 components and integrations.
* Use Microsoft Visual Studio and VS Code to develop, debug, test, and deploy Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
* Participate in solution design workshops and contribute to architectural discussions, ensuring solutions align to Microsoft best practices and Vanguard standards.
* Manage and deploy changes across environments using managed solutions, Azure DevOps, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
* Perform code reviews and contribute to development standards, technical documentation, and governance practices.
* Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Test Automation teams to support the creation of end-to-end, integration, regression, and automated testing solutions.
* Provide technical guidance and support to teams looking to integrate with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across Dynamics 365, Dataverse, integrations, and supporting technologies.
* Coordinate technical investigations and support requests with Microsoft Support and third-party vendors.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives relating to performance, reliability, security, monitoring, and platform optimisation
Key Skills & Experience:
* 7+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dataverse development experience.
* Strong experience developing C# Plugins, Custom APIs, and Custom Workflow Activities.
* Strong understanding of Microsoft Dataverse architecture, solution design, and data modelling.
* Experience building integrations using:
o Microsoft Dataverse Web APIs
o Dynamics 365 Web APIs
o REST APIs
o OAuth and modern authentication mechanisms
* Experience developing:
o PCF Controls
o JavaScript and TypeScript solutions
o Power Apps
o Power Automate
o Custom Web Resources
* Strong experience using Microsoft Visual Studio for Dynamics 365 development.
* Experience using Visual Studio Code for Power Platform, PCF, JavaScript, TypeScript, and automation development.
* Experience developing and maintaining automated unit tests using MSTest, NUnit, xUnit, or similar frameworks.
* Understanding of software engineering best practices, including:
o Unit Testing
o Test-Driven Development (TDD)
o Mocking Frameworks
o Code Reviews
o Code Quality Practices
o Secure Coding Standards
o Source Control and Branching Strategies
* Experience integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience managing deployments using Dynamics 365 Solutions and Azure DevOps.
* Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 security architecture and its impact on customisations and integrations.
* Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
* Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with third-party systems and APIs.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
* Experience with Azure Integration Services, including:
o Azure Functions
o Logic Apps
o Service Bus
o Event Grid
o API Management
* Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with AWS-hosted platforms and services.
* Experience implementing automated testing frameworks for Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and Power Platform solutions.
* Experience using FakeXrmEasy or similar frameworks for Dynamics 365 unit testing.
* Experience using GitHub for source control, branch management, pull requests, and collaborative software development.
* Experience with GitHub Actions and modern CI/CD practices.
* Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and other AI capabilities within the Power Platform ecosystem.
* Experience working with Dynamics 365 Customer Service in enterprise-scale environments.
* Experience working within Financial Services or other highly regulated industries.
* Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, or related certifications.
* Experience with application monitoring, telemetry, and production support processes
