Dynatrace Devops engineer

*REQUIRES SC CLEARANCE & 1-2 DAYS ONSITE IN GLOUCESTER*

* The Dynatrace Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining observability solutions that provide comprehensive insights into application and infrastructure performance across cloud environments. With a strong focus on Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, the role emphasizes automation, scalability, and reusability over manual configuration. The engineer will leverage Dynatrace's full technology stack-including Real User Monitoring (RUM), Full-Stack Monitoring, Synthetic Monitoring, and Log Management-to enable end-to-end visibility and proactive performance management.
* This role requires a solid understanding of AWS and Azure services to support effective integration and monitoring. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, translating business unit needs into scalable observability solutions. Strong communication skills, a collaborative and self-service-oriented mindset, and the ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced, agile environment are essential to success.

* Robust background in both software development and observability tools is mandatory.
* In Dept understanding of cloud Technology.
* Expert in Terraform and github
* Experienced professional with knowledge of Python and Typescript
* API and automation experience - Integrating with REST APIs, building automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.), and embedding configuration into CI/CD pipelines.
* TypeScript and modern development practices - Proficient in TypeScript (and JavaScript where needed) to develop automation tooling, scripts, or platform extensions that can integrate cleanly with engineering workflows
