IBM ODM Developer

Our client requires an IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) Developer.

START: 1st July
INITIAL DURATION: 6 months
IR35: OUTSIDE IR35
LOCATION: Remote with quarterly travel to client sites in the UK.
RATE: £450 - £500 per day

We are looking for an experienced IBM ODM Developer to support the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of business rules and applications within a complex enterprise environment. The successful candidate will work closely with technical and operational teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions aligned to programme objectives and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, test, and deploy IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) solutions
* Maintain and enhance existing applications, including analysing change requests and recommending improvements
* Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and support technical workshops
* Produce and maintain accurate technical and support documentation
* Provide technical guidance and support to wider development and support teams
* Support business continuity and disaster recovery activities, including testing and process reviews
* Ensure solutions are delivered in line with agreed standards, quality expectations, and project timescales

Skills & Experience:
* Strong experience with IBM ODM/IBM Operational Decision Manager
* Background in application development and support within enterprise environments
* Experience gathering and translating business and technical requirements
* Ability to troubleshoot, improve, and maintain existing systems
* Strong documentation and communication skills
* Experience working within structured delivery or change programmes
* Knowledge of disaster recovery and operational support processes would be beneficial
