Legal Counsel - Commercial & IP
A global technology and digital content organisation is seeking a Legal Counsel to support their expanding EMEA operations.
Based in London with office working, this role is suited to a commercially focused lawyer who enjoys advising on complex, fast-moving business initiatives in an international environment.
The Role:
- Provide day-to-day legal support to the business teams, acting as a trusted advisor on commercial and regulatory matters
- Advise on intellectual property matters, including copyright, brand usage, and licensing arrangements
- Advise on regulatory compliance and evolving legal frameworks impacting digital products and services
- Support new product launches and strategic initiatives in collaboration with legal and non-legal stakeholders
- Work closely with international counterparts on cross-border projects
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified lawyer with 3+ years' post-qualification experience
- Background in commercial, technology, regulatory, IP, licensing & copyright matters
- Pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach with strong judgment in ambiguous situations
- Able to operate independently while managing multiple priorities
- Additional European language skills are advantageous
