Legal Counsel – FinTech (2–5 PQE)

A fast-growing UK FinTech is seeking a commercially minded lawyer to join its expanding legal team. This is a great opportunity to work in a purpose-driven, collaborative environment supporting innovative financial products that are helping people save and invest for their future.

The role

You’ll sit within a small, high-performing legal team and work closely with colleagues across product, operations, compliance and finance. The role is broad and hands-on, offering exposure to:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including supplier, customer and technology contracts.

• Advising on new product launches, partnerships and commercial initiatives.

• Supporting on corporate, governance and regulatory matters as the business continues to scale.

• Providing pragmatic day-to-day legal advice to stakeholders across the business.

About you

• Qualified lawyer (England & Wales or another common law jurisdiction) with around 2–5 years’ PQE.

• Background in commercial, banking or financial services work gained in private practice or in-house.

• Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

• Interest in technology, financial services innovation and helping build scalable, consumer-facing products.
