Ecommerce Optimisation Specialist
Main Responsibilities
Role Specific

Lead initiatives to enhance website and app performance through optimisation and personalisation strategies. Deliver A/B testing programmes, identify opportunities for innovation, and implement impactful changes using relevant digital optimisation tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.

Drive improvements to customer experience by refining CMS templates, briefing new functionality, and ensuring consistent, high-quality journeys across mobile and desktop platforms.

Play a proactive role in planning, briefing, and delivering trading optimisation tests across all digital platforms.

Utilise analytics and user behaviour tools to optimise online sales performance, support content updates, provide tailored product recommendations, and create promotional assets such as lightboxes or badges.

Partner with creative teams to ensure content is commercially effective, brand-aligned, and factually accurate.

Engage with the trading function to gather insights, define requirements, and plan future optimisation activities.

Manage relationships with external optimisation platforms and vendors, including regular review meetings to analyse results and define best practices.

Facilitate regular discussions with marketing and trading teams to set priorities for upcoming optimisation work.

Produce and distribute weekly and monthly performance reports, highlighting key results, competitor insights, and actionable next steps.

Participate in planning meetings to align content and trading expectations, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of optimisation priorities and timelines.

Apply HTML and CSS skills to support implementation of trading updates.

Collaborate with external front-end development resources to design, develop, and test new customer experiences.
