Overview

We are supporting a leading professional services firm undergoing a major technology transformation. They are looking to hire a Full Stack Developer with a strong interest in AI-driven development and automation.

This role will focus on building scalable internal platforms, developing modern APIs, and delivering AI-enabled solutions using Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Copilot, and the Power Platform. The aim is to streamline internal workflows, improve operational efficiency, and create smarter ways of working across the business.

This is a hands-on engineering role, ideal for someone who enjoys building real solutions and wants to sit at the intersection of software development, automation, and applied AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build modern full stack applications to support internal transformation programmes
  • Develop and maintain secure, scalable APIs and integration services
  • Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and AI enablement across the organisation
  • Implement AI-powered solutions using Microsoft tools such as Copilot, Azure AI services, and automation platforms
  • Support internal teams by improving workflows, reducing manual effort, and increasing productivity
  • Build and deploy cloud-native applications, ideally within Azure
  • Ensure best practice across software development lifecycle including testing, CI/CD, security, and documentation
  • Collaborate with architects and technical teams to deliver long-term scalable solutions

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong experience as a Full Stack Developer or Software Engineer
  • Strong API development experience (RESTful APIs, integration, microservices)
  • Experience with modern programming languages such as C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Front-end experience using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
  • Cloud experience, ideally Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practice and secure development principles

AI / Automation Experience (Highly Desirable)

  • Exposure to Microsoft Copilot (M365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Copilot Studio)
  • Experience building workflow automation using Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
  • Understanding of AI integration concepts such as prompt engineering, LLM APIs, RAG, automation pipelines
  • Exposure to Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Azure Functions)
  • Interest in applying AI to real business problems, not just experimentation
