We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Principal Associate Solicitor to enhance our client's thriving practise. If you are an experienced commercial lawyer with a passion for delivering outstanding legal services, we want to hear from you.
The Role:
As a Commercial Principal Associate, you will engage in a diverse range of legal matters, including:
- Advising on commercial contracts
- High-value supply and purchasing agreements
- Agency and distribution arrangements
- Outsourcing agreements
- Strategic projects
- IT agreements
- Intellectual property licencing
- Data protection advice
You will have the opportunity to work with clients across various sectors, allowing you to broaden and deepen your expertise.
In addition to your legal responsibilities, this role offers the chance to participate in business development initiatives and leadership activities, including team supervision and engagement in firm-wide projects. This is a unique opportunity for professional growth and career advancement.
The Person:
We are looking for candidates with:
- 8+ years of experience from a City firm or large regional firm
- Strong technical skills in commercial law, IP, and IT
- A pragmatic and enthusiastic approach to providing legal advice
You should be able to demonstrate:
- A genuine interest in commercial law and its impact on business relationships
- Curiosity about what drives business success, with the ability to ask insightful questions
- An understanding of the clients' working environment to provide relevant, actionable advice
- Flexibility to apply core legal and commercial skills to a variety of contracts and arrangements
- A dedication to exceptional client service

- A desire to engage in leadership opportunities
