Senior Associate - Systems (IT Support)
Location: West LondonSalary: £27,500 per annumContract: 12-Month Fixed-Term ContractWorking Model: Fully Office-Based
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Associate - Systems (IT Support) to join a busy banking environment on a 12-month FTC. This role will support the smooth running of the Systems function, providing first and second-line IT support to users across the business while liaising with offshore teams and third-party vendors.
This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on IT support experience looking to gain exposure within a structured and fast-paced organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 IT support across desktop, applications, and network issues
- Support system administration tasks including software installation, patching, O365, antivirus updates, and user access issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to core banking applications and general IT systems
- Monitor and manage network connectivity and infrastructure issues
- Provide on-site and remote support to users across branches
- Configure and support VPN laptops and remote access solutions
- Manage network printers and liaise with external vendors
- Maintain and update the IT asset register
- Support hardware troubleshooting, system backups, and configuration issues
- Assist with audit, compliance, and vulnerability remediation (VA/PT closure)
- Manage and resolve tickets within agreed timelines (RMS system)
- Liaise with offshore support teams for issue resolution
- Maintain accurate documentation and records
Requirements
- Experience in IT support / systems support (1st/2nd line)
- Knowledge of Windows Server administration and desktop support
- Basic understanding of networking and connectivity
- Experience with hardware/software installation and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and O365 xehkeey
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to document processes and provide user guidance
