Extra Low Voltage ELV LeadLocation: Blyth, North East EnglandSector: Data Centres / Mission CriticalProject: £10bn Hyperscale Data Centre CampusOur client is a leading international main contractor delivering some of Europe's most advanced hyperscale and mission-critical data centre developments. They are seeking an experienced ELV Lead to join the delivery team on a landmark £10bn hyperscale data centre campus in Blyth, North East England.This flagship development, one of the largest data centre campuses in Europe, will be delivered over the next decade and represents one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of all Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, ensuring safe, high-quality installation, integration and commissioning across a complex mission-critical environment.Working closely with Project Managers, MEP teams, commissioning managers, specialist subcontractors, design teams and client representatives, you will oversee ELV packages, coordinate technical interfaces and ensure all systems are delivered in line with programme requirements, design intent and client specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of ELV systems across the project lifecycleManage specialist ELV subcontractors, vendors and installation teamsOversee the installation of structured cabling, CCTV, access control, security systems, fire alarm, public address, ICT and associated ELV infrastructureCoordinate ELV interfaces with electrical, mechanical, BMS, IT and commissioning teamsReview drawings, specifications, technical submissions and installation methodologiesMonitor progress, quality and compliance of ELV installation worksManage RFIs, technical queries and design coordination activitiesEnsure ELV systems are tested, commissioned and handed over in accordance with client requirementsSupport integrated systems testing (IST) and operational readiness activitiesLead coordination meetings with subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholdersMaintain quality assurance records, inspections and handover documentationIdentify technical risks and implement solutions to maintain programme deliveryPromote strong health, safety and quality standards across all ELV activitiesRequirementsProven experience as an ELV Lead, ELV Manager or Senior ELV Engineer on major construction projectsPrevious experience delivering hyperscale data centres, mission-critical facilities, pharmaceutical, industrial or complex commercial developmentsStrong technical knowledge of ELV systems including structured cabling, security, CCTV, access control, fire alarm and communications infrastructureExperience managing specialist ELV subcontractors and complex system interfacesGood understanding of testing, commissioning and handover requirementsAbility to interpret technical drawings, specifications and system designsStrong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skillsRelevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, ICT, Building Services or a related disciplineExperience working within large multidisciplinary project environmentsPackageHighly competitive salary + comprehensive packageRotation / Accommodation / Living allowance / Travel allowanceBonus / Car allowance / Private healthcare / Enhanced pension / Life assuranceLong-term opportunity on one of Europe's largest hyperscale data centre developmentsThis is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the UK's most significant digital infrastructure programmes and play a key role in delivering a landmark £10bn, 10-year hyperscale data centre campus .
